The equipment is intended for the production of bed lamellas from glued veneer sheets. Starting materials are dry formatted veneer (beech or birch) and glue (urea-formaldehyde glue). Finished products are bed lamellas ready to be built-in.
This equipment is designed for the following technologic processes:
• application of glue on the veneer
• production of bend plywood panels
• cutting panels on format
• cutting panels into lamellas
• milling the longitudinal edges of the lamellas
Equipment specification
• Gluing machine S4R
• Hydraulic press SL
• Format saw PFC 2x1-3
• Multi-blade circular saw VKŽ-T
• Profile milling machine PROFILES
The number of individual devices (machines) is determined according to the planned production range. Material to be processed is placed on a palette and is transported between the different phases of processing via handcart or forklift.
GLUING MACHINE – Type S4R
This device applies glue on both sides of the veneer by means of application rolls. The quantity of the glue is controlled via dosing rolls.
Technical data:
• working width: max. 1300 mm
• thickness of the material: 0.5 ÷ 80 mm
• feeding speed: 18 m/min
• application rolls: Æ 250 mm
• dosing rolls: Æ 200 mm
• working height: 830 mm
HYDRAULIC PRESS – Type SL
The press is used for the production of curved plywood panels, from which bed lamellas are made. The surface of the panels is smooth glaze of hardened glue. On the individual devices, the panels are trimmed; cut into lamellas and their edges are milled.
The presses are usually of multi-open construction (6 ÷ 9 et.), which enables high productivity and optimal work. Heating plates are made of steel sheets, in which holes are drilled for the flow of the heating medium. They are curved according to the desired curvature of the lamellas (R from 3.500 to 9.000 mm). Working surface of the heating plates is covered with a thin polished sheets of stainless steel.
A special design way of fixing the polished thin sheets onto the heating plates assures productivity and appropriate quality of plywood plates – lamellas.
Technical data:
• Heating plate size: 100 x 1120 mm, 850 x 1700 mm
• Number of opens: up to 10
• Curvature of heating plates: 3.500 ÷ 9.000 mm
• Specific pressure: 180 ÷ 220 N/cm2
• Working temperature: 100 ÷ 140 °C
• Heating medium: hot water or thermal oil
FORMAT SAW – Type PFC 2x1-3
The purpose of use is to cut the panels to the final length of lamellas. An additional aggregate assures that panel cutting on lenght and cutting on twice the size of lamellas is done at the same time.
Technical data:
• Starting length of panels: 600 ÷ 2.100 mm
• Starting width of panels: 100 ÷ 1.200 mm
• Thickness: 8 ÷ 25 mm
• Feeding speed: 13,5 m/min
MULTI-BLADE CIRCULAR SAW – Type VKŽ T-1050 B-950
The saw is used for longitudinal cutting of panels into lamellas. Feeding is mechanised by means of transport bands and pushing rolls.
Technical data:
• Starting length of panels: min. 525 mm
• Starting width of panels: max. 1.000 mm
• Thickness: 6 ÷ 12 mm (25 mm)
• Lamella width: 26 ÷ 950 mm
• Feeding speed: 13,6 m/min
PROFILE MILLING MACHINE – Type PROFILES 125-12,5
Profile milling machine is used for milling the longitudinal edges of lamellas. Feeding of lamellas is mechanised and is carried out via storage and transport chain.
Technical data:
• Lamellas width: 25 ÷125 mm
• Lamellas thickness: 6 ÷15 mm
• Tool diameter – milling machine: 130 mm
• Feeding speed: 21 m/min
